Hall, a former prison guard, started program in Haines, based on the concept that prisoners need not be locked in the hole for years on end to receive long-term therapy. "We try to do the same thing other people do — give them something positive and hope about the future," says Hall.
Today, Hall calls Janko his best client. "I could go on and about how helpful he's been, what a positive influence he's been, but I'm not sure if anyone deserves all the compliments I give him for that," he adds. "He's my best client."
